Operation, Sponsor a Family for Christmas Dinner

When you and your family sit down to enjoy the Christmas Dinner with Family and Friends, will you think about the many Indian families that will not be having a fine meal as you are having?

No! we cannot provide a meal for every needy family, but we sure can provide for a few of those families with your help. The Tribe is providing a Free Thanksgiving Day Dinner to all tribal members on November 22, 2008, we do not have the funds to provide a Christmas Dinner for all that would come. Tribal members have came up with the idea of letting you sponsor a Family for a Christmas Dinner.

With prices as they are, it will cost over 25.00 to prepare a Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings. We are asking you to donate 25.00 to sponsor a family. You can make your donation by clicking on our PayPal icon. you will have a record of your gift for a tax deduction. Please feel free to sponsor more than one family.

The family will be given a 25.00 gift certificate good at a Major Food Store, which will be good for purchase of food items only. This way the family can decide what they will have for Dinner, many folks don't care for Turkeys or Hams and will choose another meat for their Dinner, what they eat is left up to them. We just want to help the be able to have a meal the same as you and I will have on Christmas Day.

May God Bless each of you that cares enough to sponsor a family, and if you reading this happens to be a family in need, then please contact the tribal office. On Christmas Day, say a prayer for all that will not have even a sandwich to eat.

Many Thanks
