VETERANS PAGE

ATTENTION ALL VETERANS
I am retired from the US Army with over 24 years of service, which included tours in Vietnam. I have no real idea why I wanted to add this page to our Website, but there must be a reason or else the Creator would not have laid it on my heart.

I would like to use this page to pass on to all Veterans things that I hear or know to be true that will have an effect on us Veterans.

I don't know how many Combat Veterans are in the State of SC or just in Marlboro County where I live, but I would like to pass this on to all Combat Veterans that were awarded the Silver Star or the Bronze Star for action under hostile fire and live in SC, now you can have a License Plate that Honors your service. Please check the DMV website for the information.

Both Native American and Non-Native Veterans I invite you all to come and March with the Indian Unit at the Veterans Day Parade in Columbia, SC each November, date will be posted on this page each year. You will enjoy yourself and that is a promise.

If you are Pee Dee Indian and a member of the tribe and you are a Combat Veteran Please contact me, so I can add your name to the list I am making. I want to know how many Pee Dee Indians serve in the Military, how many saw Combat, how many disabled Veterans in Marlboro County are Pee Dee Indians? I would like to try and get some help for our disabled Veterans, but I need to know how many are here. Please tell all the Vets you know to contact the tribe.

Well this is a wrap for this time.
We are all the lucky ones, we came back alive maybe a little banged up, but still ok. I lost a few dear friends in Vietnam and now I have family members in Harms way fighting the war on Terror.

Please feel free to drop an e-mail to the old top at redfeatherruns2@att.net
