Tribal Members Meetings
The meeting date and time for tribal meetings have been changed effective as of January 05,2013. Tribal
meetings will now be held on the first Saturday of every month at 1:00 p.m. Location of tribal meeting will be on our Tribal
Grounds, which is located at 134 Longer Sand Lane off Highway # 38 towards Hamlet, NC .
To remain an active tribal member and be eligible to vote, or run for a seat on the Tribal Council
and be eligible to receive any tribal benefits that becomes available to the tribe, one must attend at least three
(3) meetings per year. With a scheduled 12 tribal meetings during the year, there is no excuse for not making the three (3)
meetings.
There will be a sign placed out on the street in McColl, SC at the Tribal Office announcing the date
and time of all meetings to include any meetings that are not to be held on the regular schedule.
Directions:
Travel up #38 N towards Hamlet. Drive past Country Crossroads store (at intersection of 38 &
79), then past Brightsville Fire Department. Approx. 1/4 mile you will see Caulk Rd to your right, just past that,
turn right onto Longer Sand Lane. Go all the way down, it will be the last trailor on the right. There is a sign
in place.

Please inform every one that the Tribal Meetings are now the First (1st) Saturday of every
other Month at 1:pm.
Special Meetings and Gatherings
Will be announce by e-mails to all members that provide an e-mail address. Please send your e-mail address
to the Tribal Secretary.
Transportation to the Tribal Meetings can be provided if there is a need for those members that do not have
transportation. If a tribal member is willing to transport two or more members to the tribal meetings in their personal vehicle
they will be allowed the cost for gas expense from the McColl tribal office and back. Please inform the Chief or Chairman
if you want to do this. There is a need for transportation.
